TOPIC: Local Congregations and Unity Among Them
SCRIPTURE:
This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be
mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Ephesians 4:13 NLT
OBSERVATION:
We give praise and honor to God for uniting us under one king. We thank Him for the opportunity to serve alongside our brothers and sisters. We acknowledge that we were all made in His image, and when the world sees the differences in race, traditions, speech, and culture, we do not see walls dividing us. Instead, we come together, bringing the best of each other, to honor our Father. We remain united under one faith, knowing that our battle is not against one another but against the ruler of this world. We stand boldly and claim our victory, for the battle has already been won. All the glory, praise, and honor belong to our Lord. In His name, we come together. In His name, we lift our city. In His name, we pray forevermore.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, your sons and daughters come before you boldly on this day to lift our local congregations towards the promise of unity. We confidently ask for spiritual eyes to look at one another with the same love and adoration that you see us with. We willingly surrender the divisions created by this world to pull us apart.
We humbly recognize that we are not meant to walk this path alone. We pray that you surround us with the right people to lead us towards your complete will for our lives. Father, we thank you in advance for what you are going to do in us during these 40 days, and we give you all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus name, amen.
